Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every organisation starts on a free trial, so your team can try SportsOS with real schedules before paying.
Are prices inclusive of GST?
No. Prices are per month and 18% GST is added to each invoice.
Do payments from parents go through Nicorsports?
No. You connect your own Razorpay account, so fees and bookings settle directly to you. Razorpay's own charges apply; SportsOS records the gateway fee and GST for your books.
What counts as a player?
Active and trial members. Guardians, staff and one-off court bookers are not counted.
Can I run more than one venue?
Yes, on every plan. Add facilities, switch between them, and limit staff to the facility they work at.
Which sports are supported?
Cricket (including the ball-by-ball Scorer app), football, tennis, badminton, pickleball, squash, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, hockey and swimming are built in, and you can add your own.
Can I bring my existing student list?
Yes. Upload your Excel or CSV sheet; SportsOS validates every row and imports the valid ones together.
Do I need fingerprint readers?
No. Access control is optional: members can use the QR pass in the app and staff can scan it with a phone. Readers can be added later.
Is the cricket Scorer app included?
Yes, on every plan at no extra cost: ball-by-ball scoring, live scorecards and share links, charts, teams and player stats.
Do players pay for a Nicorsports profile?
No. Player profiles are free for players: anyone can sign up with their phone number, and parents manage their children's profiles. Friendly matches are free to score too.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Tell us and we'll move you up or down as your academy changes.
